Amelia's First Easter!

Mommy had to work on Easter, so Amelia got up with her bright and early (5:00am) to see what the easter bunny had brought! The easter bunny made a mistake though, he brought her chocolate and jelly beans! Mommy and Daddy had to help her eat it since she was still too little. Amelia loved her soft, fluffy lamb and her fuzzy bunny ears. Mommy hated to leave her on her first easter, but daddy got up and took her to easter Sunday and then to see some family at Aunt Stacy's house, including her cousin Hollynn. She had so much fun!

Good Bye Houston!

Amelia went to her first Wedding. Aimee Bertrand, a friend from college, got married in H0uston, Tx so Amelia took a road trip with the girls! We travel with the Caulfield's, Ms. Pam, Ms. Cornelia and of course Eric. We had fun counting cows and partying the whole weekend long. Amelia's only complaint was the traffic. Her howls echoed across the interstate as we sat in hours and hours of traffic. And to that we say Good by Houston!!!

Where did mommy go?

Well, mommy had to go back to work and that means Amelia gets more playtime with her daddy! I am not sure if she is too amused with him in this photo! It is hard to go back to work, but it sure is nice to have some adult conversation. I think Amelia is ready for me to come back home though.

Amelia and Hollynn

Amelia and Hollynn love playing together, despite the fear you see in Amelia's eyes! They are eight months apart and are sure to be a handful of trouble one day. Hollynn is Glen's sister Shanna and her husband Dusty's little girl. We are so happy that they will have each other as they grow up!

The Nashville After Shower

While visiting Nashville for Christmas, my amazingly beautiful friends gave Amelia a shower. As you can see from the pictures she enjoyed every minute! It was great to visit with everyone and actually get pink clothes, since most everything we got was gender neutral. Not only did she get great clothes, she also go a beautiful Barbie Otterphol original hand made blanket. We enjoyed great food and delicious cake, and Amelia was an angle the whole time. Thanks to all my incredible friends for such a fun party!

Amelia's First Christmas

We spent Amelia's 1st Christmas in Nashville with her Grandma and Grandpa Baughn. We woke her up (that was a first) bright and early to see what Santa had brought her. As you might of guessed it was way too much for someone who really did not know what was going on! Her, and my, favorite gift was her 1st Huggum's doll. Every girl in our family has one and we all got them on Christmas! We enjoyed our Christmas day visiting with the Grandparents, Aunt Katie, Aunt Hanna, Aunt Jodi, Uncle Jonathan and Cousin Daniel. The kids played with their new toys and the adults played with their new toys, Guitar Hero and Wii. It is hard to believe that Amelia is already 6 weeks old.

The First Weeks of Life

Amelia has been busy these past three weeks. She enjoys sleeping, eating, pooping, puking and starring at mom and dad with her big brown eyes at 3 o'clock in the morning. We enjoyed Thanksgiving with my family. I hosted and Granny catered. She went for her 2 week visit and she now weighs 10 lbs 8 oz and is 22 inches long. She also enjoyed her first girls lunch with her "fairy godmothers", Amanda, CA and Bethany. However, her biggest accomplishment these first few weeks has been discovering how to cover mom and dad in poop as they change her diaper. There is nothing quite like getting squirted in the chest with poop at 2 a.m.
