The Baughn Family Christmas Party

This year my family did their Christmas party at my Uncle Danny and Aunt Charolette's house somewhere in Alabama. I would be more specific, but I had no idea how we got there or where we were. They live on a lake so the kids loaded up in the wagons to go down and throw rocks in the water. They had a lot of fun. Glen introduced Amelia to sticks! She found a really big one, maybe a little too big...

Hi; I am a member of the Baughn family in Alabama--would like to know who your ancestors are. I suspect you were on Smith Lake, in either Winston or Cullman Co. for your xmas party. My ancestors lived in Lynn, Winston Co. And, there are some who still live there, on the original land which was settled by their ancestors in 1800's. (If you look at the list of blogs, you will see one that reads, "The History of the Baughns' family in America," which was written by my grandfather, Joseph (Joe) Baughn, who died at age of approx. 95, in 1976.
